Tropical Storm Nate. Official report of the Government of the State of Quintana Roo

Yellow alert is issued for the counties of Isla Mujeres, Lazaro cardenas, Puerto Morelos, Solidaridad (Playa del Carmen), Benito Juarez (Cancun), Cozumel and Felipe Carrillo Puerto

The tropical storm Nate was located at 5:00AM at 278 miles SSE of Cozumel, Mexico. Moving to the NNE at 14 mph, maximum winds near the center of 47mph and higher gusts, the wind radio extends at 94 miles from the center of the storm.

Forecast for October 6th, 2017
It is expected that the storm will be located today at 18:00pm in the coordinates 20.8° N and 87.1° W, that is approximately at 57 miles NNE of Cozumel, Mexico, keeping the category of tropical storm.

The storm is gradually approaching to the coast of Quintana Roo; because of the distance and the forecasted path is is strongly suggested to monitor the evolution of the storm and follow the advisories and warnings issued by the government.
